A Safer Box Opener

Safety cutters like the Klever and Martor designs open cardboard using a recessed blade that never fully exposes the edge. That single design change eliminates most hand, thigh, and product damage that comes from traditional box cutters. 

You cut the tape and top layer of cardboard, not whatever is underneath it. They also reduce blade swapping, loose blade storage, and the bad habit of using dull, dangerous edges. In production or fulfillment environments, this lowers injury risk without slowing work down.
