Avoid Dip Tank Pregnancy

Dip tanks deform over time, and the failure is always the same: the sidewalls bow outward until the whole thing looks pregnant. That bulge keeps growing as the tank holds weight day after day, and eventually the plastic gives up. When that happens, you don’t get a warning—just a blown-out tank and reclaim chemistry all over the floor.
The fix is simple: add a metal support band around the midsection of the tank to lock the walls in place. With the frame installed, the tank can’t expand, can’t warp, and can’t rupture. It’s a cheap insurance policy against a catastrophic mess that only needs to happen once to make you wish you’d done it sooner.
