Boat Mentality: Two of Everything

A shop runs on the same rule as a boat far from shore: if it breaks and you don’t have a spare, you’re stuck. Treat every critical item like it’s mission-dependent and keep duplicates ready to go. Two of every ink, two key parts for every press, two consumables for anything that halts production. 

When the first unit runs out or fails, reorder immediately so the backup becomes the new primary without downtime. This prevents scramble moments, stalled runs, and late orders that pile pressure on the team.
