Change Squeegee & Floodbar Sizes to Save Tape

Tape Ink Pallet Screen Equipment Squeegee Print Mesh Emulsion Clients

Buying multiple squeegee and flood bar widths is a simple way to cut down on constant screen taping. Instead of taping off unused mesh on every job, you match the tool width to the artwork and print area.

That means less setup time, fewer consumables burned, and more consistent ink control at the edges. It also reduces the chance of tape lifting mid-run and contaminating prints.

Shops running mixed job sizes benefit the most because changeovers happen faster and cleaner. The upfront cost is small compared to the long-term savings in tape, labor, and frustration.
