Dog-Ear Screen Tape
When taping the back of your screens, add a “buddy tab” to make your reclaim crew’s life easier. Instead of fighting to peel tape that’s practically fused to the emulsion after hundreds of passes, fold one corner of the first tape strip to form a little pull tab.
Line up your tape strips end-to-end so when one is peeled, the rest come off in a single pull. This tiny prep step saves time, reduces frustration, and keeps the reclaim process flowing smoothly.
Some new tapes, like PMI’s hand-tearable version, even include a built-in non-stick edge—essentially a ready-made buddy tab. Simple tweak, huge payoff.
