Flip Cart Top Upside Down to Avoid the Dip

Buy the metal Harbor Freight shop carts, flip the tops so they’re flat, and eliminate the curse of the dip. The recessed factory tops create pockets that swallow small sizes, tricking you into thinking you’re almost done when half a stack is sunk out of sight.

That optical illusion burns time, wrecks pacing, and creates needless back-and-forth between print stations. A flipped, flat surface stops the sinking and keeps every garment visible in a clean, single plane. Add magnetic trays to the cart sides or even the dryer body to hold squeegees, tools, and tape without cluttering the work area. The metal frame handles weight better than plastic carts and still costs far less than Uline’s versions.

The result is a stable, cheap, organized rolling surface that removes the hidden-shirt problem entirely.
