Foggers for Waterbase Screens
Tape Ink Pallet Screen Equipment Squeegee Print Mesh Emulsion Clients
Water-based inks live or die by moisture control, and dry air is the enemy. Adding a fogger or steamer near the first print head helps keep humidity where it matters instead of relying on ambient shop air.
This targeted moisture slows ink drying in the screen, reducing clogging and mid-run cleanup. Swamp coolers can help overall conditions, but localized humidity at the press is far more effective. Many shops use inexpensive reptile foggers with a hose aimed near the screen to achieve the same result.
Proper humidity control leads to more consistent prints and a softer final feel that holds up across the entire run.
