Kanban Supply System

Kanban supply management can be as simple as attaching a reorder card to the last case of a supply. In a screen print shop, this might mean the final case of pallet tape, ink, or emulsion has a bright, labeled card taped to it. When you break into that last case—or even the second to last if you need more buffer—you immediately pull the card and drop it in your purchaser’s inbox or on their desk. That card is the signal to reorder, no meetings or memory required.
