Nail Polish Pin Holes
When printing with water-based inks, the screen’s underside often becomes damp, making traditional tape useless for patching pinholes. The moisture prevents tape from sticking properly, which can lead to ink leaks and ruined prints.
A smarter fix is to dab a bit of nail polish directly on the bottom side of the screen where the pinhole appears. Nail polish dries quickly, bonds even to slightly wet mesh, and creates a reliable waterproof seal.
It’s a cheap, easy solution that saves time and keeps your prints clean. Just let it dry before resuming printing to avoid transferring polish onto the garment.
