Peel-and-Stick Hat Patches

Peel-and-stick patch backings make hat sewing faster and cleaner. Instead of fighting to align floppy patches, the pressure-sensitive adhesive holds them in perfect position while you stitch. It eliminates shifting and pleating, giving consistent placement across runs.
Many decorators use these instead of heat-activated adhesive because spray-based options like 3M Super 77 can be applied more precisely to stiffen the patch and prevent curling. However, most machines will gum up threads and needles if you sew directly through heavy adhesive—test your setup or upgrade parts before running volume.
This small change saves time, reduces rework, and improves visual alignment across every hat.
