Quick Mesh ID Tool

A quick way to identify an unmarked screen is to use a small mesh-ID reference frame built from swatches of your most common mesh counts.

By mounting small squares of 160, 200, 230, and any other meshes you use onto a mini frame, you can hold it against any screen and instantly read the moiré pattern that appears.

When the two meshes match, the wavy interference pattern becomes visible, giving you a fast, reliable confirmation of the screen’s actual mesh. This eliminates guesswork when tags fall off, markings fade, or a screen gets misplaced in the rack.

A simple tool like this keeps production organized and prevents printing with the wrong mesh before a job ever hits the press.
