A Stream Deck is a small, programmable button panel originally built for gamers, repurposed in shops as a physical control surface for complex software actions. Each button can trigger a chain of hotkeys, scripts, or commands with a single press. 

In production and prepress, this means automating CTS prep tasks like left chest placement, converting artwork to solid black, resizing to exact specs, or rotating files for tote bags without touching menus. 

What normally takes dozens of clicks becomes muscle memory. The real gain is not speed alone, but consistency, because every file is processed the same way every time. Building custom hotkeys replaces judgment calls with systems.
